Winter on the Prairie

Journal entry 376:
The sun made its an appearance for the first time in roughly 5145 days. Came out of hibernating in my office with boxes of fruit snacks and bourbon. Ventured into the godforsaken cold, just to remember what sunlight felt like again. Burned pastey white skin in the light. But for that brief moment of time, it was worth it.

Journal entry 377:

The sun is gone now, not to be back until May. Stockpile of bourbon and smiley fruit snacks running dangerously low, may have to brave the great unknown to resupply. This may be my last journal entry.
